My father Michael Nugent died this week, after an inspirational 89 years of life. This is Michael speaking at my wedding to my late wife Anne Holliday in 2009.
We got married in the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks in Dublin, where Anne had worked, and which was previously an army barracks, hence Michael’s reference to serving there in the army. Anne had terminal cancer at the time of the wedding and she died last April. We had lived together happily and lovingly for twenty five years.

I was sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing… via Church notice.. he was a lovely Man, had a lovely silent wisdome about him, I’m sure you and the rest of the Family will miss his presence terribly. I would have contacted you personally but neither of has the others contact information.
